Sandringham Sports Physio is rightly known as one of the most progressive and dynamic private practices in Melbourne. We have a Real Time Ultrasound machine, which allows for advanced imaging of musculoskeletel disorders, core and pelvic floor imaging and retraining.
Our recently acquired Video Analysis software allows for extensive assessment and evaluation of gait, running and many functional activities, as well as for re-evaluation and comparison after retraining. We also have a Pro Ice machine incorporating the latest technology in management of acute injuries.
We have a dedicated team of 10 physiotherapists, 2 podiatrists, 4 Massage/Myotherapists, 1 Sports Dietitian and we work in close association with Melbourne’s leading orthopedic and sports physicians. We operate a 7 day per week service, as well as supplying physiotherapy services to prominent sporting teams such as the successful Sandringham Football Club, Melbourne United basketball club and Sabres basketball club.
The Clinic offers an exceptional mentoring program, where all new staff are assigned to one of our senior physiotherapists. Mentoring at SSP aims to provide the new therapist with support in areas of: clinical decision making, sports injury management, professional conduct, career guidance, presentation and public speaking skills and patient management advice not instructed at the undergraduate level. Senior Physiotherapist Wanted

Senior Physio Consultant required for clinical/managerial role within our multi-disciplinary team. This role is unlikely to be offered again for many years, and presents a rare opportunity to manage a varied caseload at a leading sports clinic and be involved in managing a cohesive team.
Suitable candidate should ideally possess many of the following skill sets:
• Minimum 10 years clinical practice in Private Setting
• Manual therapist
• DMA Clinical Pilates trained
• Ergonomic training or interest/willingness to learn
• GEMt Dry Needling trained
• Managerial background
• Excellent people skills
• Proven clinical skills
• Experience working with sporting teams
• Can do attitude
This position is a permanent and full time post with a salary package over 100K plus. Bonus systems in place (pending experience and credentials).
